Making an Application for Admission to Sutton Park School
APPLICATIONS:
All families wishing to apply for entry to Sutton Park School MUSTdo so by lodging an application in the following way:-
1) APPLICATION FORM (Fully Completed) this form MUST state the following important details:- a) Students Irish PPS Number on the form (Irish students only), this number is an important requirement by the Department of Education if the student is enrolled. b) Physical or Learning Difficulties - If your child is currently having support in school for learning diffulties etc, It is important that the school is informed of this at the time of application. The school is required to apply to the Department of Education for Learning Resource hours to offer the student, prior to the students start date. An up-to-date Psychological report etc MUST be lodged with your application. This enables us to offer your child the best attention possible. c) Medical/Allergies etc - This information MUST be written on your form if there is any medical conditions etc. If any student has had major surgery etc in the past or is currently on special medication you must supply us with the details on the form. This enables our School Nurse to have complete updated information of a students health so that the best care can be given.
2) ACADEMIC REPORTS - For applicants over the age of 7 Years Old, A minimum of 2 Academic Reports from their current school MUST be lodged with your application form. Any applications received for the next academic year (2008-09) cannot be assessed without these reports. For International Students - your academic reports must show your English written and oral ability.
[Please note reports are not required for applications for entry into years 2011+ at present. We will request these once we start processing the applications for the relevant year]
3) BIRTH CERTIFICATE & PHOTO I.D - Please attach a copy of both to your application.
