Sutton Park School took six titles in the Dublin & Leinster Leagues. Two of our teams will now go on to play in the All Ireland Final to be held in Gormanstown College on Saturday 28th March 2009.
Under-19 Boys
The Under 19 Boys playing in Div I won the Dublin and Leinster Leagues. This is the Premier League in Badminton and a first for Sutton Park. |
Under-14 Boys "A"
The Under 14 Boys "A" playing in Div II took the Leinster title. They will also go on to play in the All Ireland Finals.
We wish both teams the very best of luck.
Under-14 Boys "B"
The Under 14 Boys "B" Team took the Dublin and Leinster titles. |

Under-14 Girls
The Under 14 Girls took the Dublin Div II Title.
Some of the Schools we defeated along the way were: St Fintan's High / Wesley College / Terenure College / Gormanstown College / De La Salle / St Colmcille / Kilkenny College / Wexford / Dundalk to name but a few.
This is a record of titles taken by Sutton Park in one year.

| LUKE MOORE |
 | Luke Moore is currently playing for Ireland on the U17 Team. He started playing badminton at the age of 10 years old at the Sutton Park School Saturday morning club. His Coach at that time was Ms Phyllis Spence.
Luke quickly graduated to the school teams and has never looked back. This year he was on the winning Dublin League and Leinster League Teams. Luke was a finalist in the all Ireland Schools final at U19. |
